Reinforcement from France for Perceptual Psychology of the University of Giessen

Humboldt Foundation sponsors stay of renowned French researcher Pascal Mamassian with a quarter of a million euros.

The renowned French psychologist of perception Dr. Pascal Mamassian will strengthen experimental research at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) in phases over the next five years. The Alexander-von-Humboldt-Foundation supports the stay at the professorship of Prof. Dr. Karl Gegenfurtner with the Anneliese-Maier-Research-Award with 250.000 Euro. With this award, the Foundation supports the internationalization of the humanities and social sciences in Germany. The award is given to outstanding humanities scholars and social scientists who are nominated by cooperation partners at German universities and research institutions. The prize money is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
