Dr Katharina Dobs receives Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Preis
Another success for Giessen-based perception researcher Dr Katharina Dobs:
German Research Foundation honours perceptual researcher from Giessen - Focus on visual perception of objects
The psychologist and computer scientist has been awarded one of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prizes, endowed with 200,000 euros. Last autumn, the research group leader, who conducts research into how we recognise people, objects and places in the Visual Cognition & Computational Neuroscience Lab at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU), had already received one of the coveted ERC Starting Grants from the European Research Council.
