Different People Perceive Different Objects When Looking at the Same Picture - Genetic Causes Suspected - Publication of JLU Perceptual Psychology.

Two people look at the same picture: Do they also see the same thing? Or is every view of the world individual? According to a study published in the journal "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences" (PNAS) by an international team of vision researchers led by perceptual psychologists from Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU), the latter is apparently the case. The gaze of different people can be attracted to different parts of the same scene - this also changes perception, since the eyes and brain can only highly resolve the directly fixed part of the image.
