I’m interested in how sensory information is used for spatial perception and goal-directed movements. In particular, my work centers on reaching and saccadic eye movements to visual, tactile, proprioceptive and kinesthetic targets.
My goal is to better understand how the brain transforms sensory information into a movement by focusing on reference frames for spatial perception and action and how they depend on the sensory modality and the task. At a higher level, I’m examining how attention and working memory interact with sensorimotor processes.
