My research focuses on the role of visual attention in human information processing. I am particularly interested in how humans select visual information from their complex environments, and how attentional selection is affected by various factors such as visual salience, prior scene knowledge, and the observer’s current intention. 

In our experiments we combine different experimental and neurocognitive methods (behavioral measures, motion tracking and EEG) to understand how the brain implements selective attention and higher level visual processing.
