I am interested in the sensorimotor control of hand and whole-body actions with an emphasis on somatosensory perception and gaze for action. For these, I employ body and eye tracking, as well as psychophysics in young and older adults. Through my research I examine how sensorimotor predictions interact with the processing of online sensory feedback. My goal within this SFB project is to understand why somatosensory feedback is dynamically up- and down-weighted during complex human movements.
