Mein hauptsächliches Forschungsinteresse gilt der Schnittstelle von emotionaler und sprachlicher Entwicklung bei typisch entwickelten Kindern und solchen mit Sprachentwicklungsstörung. Dabei gehe ich der Frage nach, wie beide Entwicklungsdomänen miteinander interagieren und welche Faktoren dieses Zusammenspiel zusätzlich beeinflussen können. Im Fokus stehen dabei insbesondere persönliche Faktoren wie Alter, Sprachkompetenz und Persönlichkeitsmerkmale. Zur Beantwortung dieser Frage wende ich behaviorale Methoden, Trainingsstudien sowie Eye-Tracking an.
