Mein Forschungsschwerpunkt ist die haptische Wahrnehmung von Objekten und ihren Eigenschaften. Insbesondere interessiere ich mich für Mechanismen, die der Optimierung von motorischen Abläufen und der Integration multisensorischer Signale während einer haptischen Exploration zugrundeliegen. Hierfür nutze ich Methoden der Psychophysik, Virtual Reality, und Motion Tracking.
