Vorhersage von Position und Bewegung während sakkadischer und glatter Augenbewegungen

Im Projekt A1 wird der Focus auf der Untersuchung des Blickbewegungsverhalten in unserer natürlichen Umgebung und in der virtuellen Realität (VR) liegen. Unser Ziel ist es, genaue Kenntnisse darüber zu erlangen, welche kontextuelle Informationen unser visuelles System nutzt, um prädiktive oder antizipatorische Augenbewegungen zu steuern. Ein weiteres Ziel ist die Identifikation von visuo-motorischen Routinen, d. h. räumlich und zeitlich festgelegten Augenbewegungsmustern, die bei unterschiedlichen Aufgaben verwendet werden. Parallel zu den Verhaltensexperimenten werden wir am Tiermodell des Rhesusaffen mittels Ableitungen aus dem Parietalcortex den Einfluss vom visuellen Kontext auf Augenbewegungssequenzen bestimmen und erstmals am kopffreien Tier prädiktive Aspekte der Blicksteuerung neurophysiologisch untersuchen können.
