Das Projekt A8 wird untersuchen, wie Prädiktion das Aussehen von Reizen im peripheren Gesichtsfeld prägt und wie die peripheren Repräsentationen benutzt werden, um deren Relevanz für Blickbewegungen vorherzusagen. Wir werden Verhaltensversuche und EEG (Frequency-Tagging) verwenden, um zu erforschen, wie trans-sakkadisches Lernen das periphere Erscheinungsbild, die perzeptualle Konfidenz und die zu Grunde liegenden neuronalen Repräsentationen verändert. Wir verwenden Methoden der Computergrafiken, um das periphere Erscheinungsbild in natürlichen Szenen zu untersuchen. Schließlich werden wir neuronale Netzwerkmodelle und mobiles Eye-Tracking kombinieren, um zu verstehen, wie periphere Signale Blickbewegungen in alltäglichen Situationen steuern.
